Hate to do this, but.. just now got mine, put in the batteries, turned it on, set the calendar & clock, and tried it out.
It ran through auto-calibration, and then it says I weigh 127lb. That’s nice, except I weigh 160-170. Wildly inaccurate = useless.

I am 37 yo 5’9″ and 200 LBS. Pretty stocky guy, who works out three times a week. The machine gave me 26% of body fat and 35% muscle which is a joke. What about the rest of the 40%? Is that all the skeleton? Hardly. I also got 14 for visceral fat and 57 for body age. I can run 10K anytime anywhere – 57???. I measured myself several times with the same results. I`d say the machine gives you false results if you have large muscle mass. The manual mentions that the body fat percentage results can be false for bodybuilders or personnel with a large muscle mass. All the other results are false, too, not just the BFP. I bought myself a very expensive scale because I have no use of the other functions due to the false measurements.
I do not recommend this body fat analyzer for those who do weight training and are pretty muscular. Go with the caliper instead…

Brand new scale gives 5 different weight readings for the same person in five minutes. My husband got readings for his profile one day and the next received nothing but error messages. Then the next day his profile readings worked fine again. I called customer service and they told me it sounded like something was internally wrong with the scale and I should send it to them so they could determine the problem, fix it and send it back. I told them I did not buy a refurbished scale, I bought a new one, and I wanted a new one to replace this one. They refused, saying the warranty is for “repair only”. That’s understandable if the scale is breaking after months of use, not brand new! I returned it to Amazon.
From reading the other reviews, it looks like it’s a great scale IF YOU GET ONE THAT WORKS, but it seems as though there are quite a few lemons out there! I guess we got one of the lemons. So I guess if you want to buy this scale, ask yourself… how lucky do you feel?

The only thing that seems to work with any certain accuracy is the weight scales, so all in all this is just an expensive weigher than has a lot of gizmos. we all know these numbers arent 100% accurate, using the electrical resistance method, but these numbers are totally unusable. My skeletal muscle and body fat %ages are at least 5 % inaccurate. Im an a relatively sport 31 y/o male, but seem to a have a body age of 48!
The only positive is that they seem to be consistently wrong, most of the time, it once thought my body fat %age droped 6% overnight?!?
Do not buy this!!

This is a great product for opening your eyes to just where you stand with your weight and other numbers. I conduct weight loss challenges and most people have no idea about their visceral fat, etc. Getting the numbers is very important for people to have a starting point.
