It needs to be calibrated every single time, so you have to stand on it twice. Mine lasted for two years only before the settings feature became erratic. Taylor won’t be selling me a replacement.

This scale is awful. I like the idea of a digital scale, and loved the large readout since I would have to wear glasses to see it otherwise. However, it simply isn’t accurate. It displays your weight to the nearest tenth of a pound, and for the third day in a row today, I am exactly 140.0 pounds. I fluctuate a lot daily and know from years of weighing myself on other scales, that I am not the same weight down to a tenth of a pound every day. This happened another time where for four days in a row, I was exactly the same weight. It’s like it gets stuck or something. If I hit the reset button, it sometimes clears itself out and I get a totally different reading, often several pounds different. So which one do you use? If I take the batteries out, it also helps, but come on, I am not going to reseat the batteries every day. I have noticed it doesn’t like to be moved, but we have a small bathroom, so it gets moved around. Possibly if you left it in exactly the same space and never moved it, it would be ok.

I was very disappointed with this product, I ended up returning it. The BMI and water content components of this are very irritating. They kept reading error messages – no matter how many times I wiped my feet and left a bit of moisture on them (as the directions said to). Also, the weight scale kept changing, I would get on it once, get my weight, then an error message for BMI, get off, wipe my feet and then when I stepped back on it – get a different weight measurement and still have the error message for BMI. This happened over and over again.

I love this scale so much. Once you get the hand of it it is so easy to use. The weight is accurate (I have weighed myself 10 times in a row and still got the same number). The results come up fast on the screen and I love the graph that it shows when you measure fat. This scale is great and not too expensive! Definitely worth the money!
