Is It Possible To Measure The Body Fat Percentage On A Particular Section Of My Body?

I’d like to know how much of certain parts of my body are fat vs. muscle. Is there anyway to determine this? I don’t want to lift weights using certain parts of my body if I already have enough muscle there. I’m not worried about looking like a body builder but I still don’t want the muscle to get any bigger, I just want to burn the fat that is there, if any. Particularly around my butt and thighs.

most gyms have a mechine that determines this, you can go and ask for the measures, most do this for free too

there is the skinfold test that most of us remember from elementary school P.E., but it is not very accurate . . . today, there are a number of more accurate machines to get your body fat percentage . . . some of the fat is in your bloodstream, but as a woman, there are predictable areas where you store your fat (butt and breasts and typically thighs/hips and back of the arm) . . . chances are that much of your excess fat is on your butt and on your thighs
