Tips on how to lose body fat and gain muscle?

I am 18 years old and i am 6ft and weigh 190lbs. I am trying to lose body fat. I exercise a lot but dont seem to be losing weight. I think it is the way i eat, even though i dont each a lot of sugar or fast food, i have a problem with over eating. Does anyone have any tips on how i can change this?

How much body fat % to gain maximum muscle?
I wanted to know what sort of bodyfat % a bodybuilder would be on when hes on his bulking phase. I have read and heard that they put on abit of fat to ensure they gain maximum muscle. Was wondering if any one knew what sort of percentage they stay at. I have personally never been above 10% bodyfat so was wondering if it was worth me gaining some extra fat by consuming more calories for a bigger bulk.

My goal is to lose my body fat and get solid/ripped and build more muscle and get stronger.I want to stay around the 160s.I was looking at the GNC Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 Anyone know if that is any good? How much body fat would i gain from one weekend of consuming alcohol and fast food?

Obviously when i say “drinking alcohol” i mean during the night time. I went out Friday and Saturday nights and drank a lot of alcohol, and i also ate a whole pizza Sat night and a kebab Fri night, so how much body fat would i gain?? I currently have 4% body fat.
