i am 22 years old, i weigh 190 lbs, however, i am not big b/c I go to gym often. Currently my BMI is 28.7 (which states i am overweight; but i have read is inaccurate bc muscle weighs more than fat) my body fat percentage is 19.6%. i am starting the p90x program and i want to get back down to 175 lbs. what is a good healthy body fat percentage for a goal?

Im 5’8. I also swim everyday (im on the swim team).
I read somewhere that girls need more body fat than guys or that our bodies have more, but i wanted to know if i have a healthy percentage.

Let me add that functional abdominal exercises (if performed correctly) may assist in PULLING your tummy (organs) in giving it the appearance of “flatter” tummy however it’s more important to “strengthen” your core (front and back of body) to improve your posture. It’s important to understand that sit ups alone are for losers and won’t assist in fat loss at all! Forget doing 100 sit ups before bed you are better off getting into bed and sleeping yourself slim SERIOUSLY! Best Exercise: There are several however here are a few to get you started. I am pretty low on the body fat, but i want to get abs,s o i need like 8% body fat. Is there any EXACT way to get my Body Fat Percent? I went on an estimation website and put in my measurements, and it said my body fat percent is 11.87% HELP!
