I work out extremely intense in my cardio and strength training, and I stay away from fried foods and junk foods, sodas, juices, I drink lots of water, I’ve been doing all of these qualites for 8 months now. I STILL have a “tummy pooch”, “baby gut” or whatever you want to call it. Anyway, is their REALLY a limit on how much body fat your body will let you lose? Is this hereditary on how much your body fat will go down? No matter how much cardio for how long and how intense, my pooch will not go down. Frustrating.

How can i lose body fat percentage without losing weight?

I am 14 years old, 117 pounds, and at 31% body fat (according to an online calculator [navy formula]). I don’t feel very healthy at this level and I know that I cannot eat many calories without gaining weight. I try to consume 1200 calories a day and burn off 200 by running. I don’t think I’m getting enough vitamins each day but I’m afraid that if I eat more I’ll gain body fat. What can I do to increase muscle mass and decrease my body fat percentage?

How quick should you start losing body fat during a diet/excercise regimen?

I have been working out for the last 5 weeks at my gym on a regimen of 2 days weight and 3 days cardio. I have lost no weight, but instead gained 4 pounds. However, my body fat has dropped from 31.6 down to 28.5 during this time. Is this healty to lose that fast and should I expect to see more loss if I keep it up?
