How much body fat % to gain maximum muscle?
I wanted to know what sort of bodyfat % a bodybuilder would be on when hes on his bulking phase. I have read and heard that they put on abit of fat to ensure they gain maximum muscle. Was wondering if any one knew what sort of percentage they stay at. I have personally never been above 10% bodyfat so was wondering if it was worth me gaining some extra fat by consuming more calories for a bigger bulk.

Need to Lose Weight Quick? – 5 Ways to Destroy Fat and Keep it Off!
Step 1: Keep track of the calories you take in, including liquids!
If you need to lose weight quick then you need to stay ontop of your caloric intake. People often forget that what they drink can drastically affect their body weight just as the food they eat does. Many people ingest just as many calories through what they drink. Try switching to diet soda, cut back on the amount of sugar you put in your coffee and cut down on the alcohol. Also don’t waste your money on so called energy drinks, they are full of sugar!
Step 2: Diet + Exercise
If you want results you need to do both of them together. Cutting your calories alone will enable your body to lose fat but you will plateau eventually. Diet combined with an exercise routine that burns a good amount of calories will have you shedding that fat and you will lose weight quick.
Step 3: Track your progress correctly.
When people say they want to lose weight. They usually mean they want to lose fat! There is a big difference. You should measure your body fat percentage by using a skin fold test. You can do this by using an Accu-measure caliper. Just looking at the scale can give you a false reading. For example according to the scale you may have gained more weight, so you get frustrated when in fact you have gained muscle which is good. On the contrary you may have lost some weight according to the scale and think that you are progressing nicely not knowing that you have lost precious muscle.
Step 4: Be Consistent.
Stick with your diet and workout routine. If you’re doing what you’re supposed to be doing then you will see results within a month or so. Most people get frustrated and give up before that. Try your best not to skip workouts and stick to your diet.
Step 5: Have fun
Don’t view working out as a chore but as something fun. When I first started doing cardio I would look for any reason to get off the treadmill. So it’s like I was sabotaging my workout before it even began. Now I motivate myself by competing with myself. For example every time I run on the treadmill I record all my stats such as how long I ran for, how many calories I burned etc and the next time I’m on it I try and beat my previous stats.
Losing weight can be very difficult if not done correctly. If you need to lose weight Quick then all you need to do is follow the above 5 ways to destroy fat and keep it off. Their are a few more crucial steps that I did not include in this article that are critical too your success in burning off the fat. I want to share these steps with you but I did not have room for them here. So please visit my website www.burnthefat.com to get them.

I Need to Lose Weight But How? Reduce Body Fat is the Answer
The best way to lose weight if you are having problems and you are saying “I need to lose weight but how?” is to reduce body fat with a healthy balanced diet and moderate exercise.
* Why a healthy balanced diet?
If you do not eat enough and get all the nutrients your body needs you will not be able to do exercise. The second reason is that if you eat too little, your body will go into starvation mode and slow down your metabolism. This in turn will slow down the fat burning process. This will make losing weight more and more difficult and you will land yourself up in the dreaded plateau. So, the idea here is to keep your body’s natural furnace at its maximum!
*How can this be achieved?
One of the most important things you need to do is eat more that three meals a day. Not more food, but the correct amount spread over about four meals a day. You also have to become conscious of what you eat. It is so easy to absentmindedly put something in your mouth without even realizing that you are eating.
There are many diets that will be able to help you. Choose one that suits you and stick to it. Be careful of fad diets though as they will without end up with you gaining weight in the long run. You will end up in the typical yo-yo dieting cycle!
* How can I recognize a fad diet easily?
The first and most important sign is if you have to eat very little filling and substantial meals. Typically with a fad diet you have too eat mainly one kind of food and very little else. If you are expected to eat buckets full of soup with very little else, be sure it is a fad diet and stay well away!
The second sign is if the program prohibits exercise. The weight loss program does not have to insist or even encourage exercise, but it must not forbid it. If the program says you are not allowed to exercise, know that it supplies you with too little fuel for exercise and then it is definitely a fad diet.
* Why only moderate exercise?
When doing exercise with the purpose of burning fat, you have to exercise at 60% of your maximum heart rate. If you exercise at a higher heart rate you will actually burn less fat. Remember, your idea here is not to get fit or build muscle; you want to burn the fat. So, if it is possible, get a heart rate monitor and check your heart rate while you are exercising and slow down or speed up as the need may be. If you cannot afford a heart rate monitor, divide your desired heart rate by six and count it manually for ten seconds.
* What about building muscle?
Once you have the fat burning going, you can also move on to building muscle. This will further speed up the process as muscle burn more energy than fat. For this you have to get a well worked out program to make sure you do it right. Once again you will find very good programs or you can join a gym and ask them to work out a program for you.
By keeping the above in mind, you will have your desired body on the beach this summer, no fear!
So, once again if you are saying help me lose weight, but how? Reduce body fat with a good diet and moderate exercise will be the answer.
